Surrey Docks Farm is a working city farm in the heart of London. It occupies a 2.2 acre site on the south bank of the river Thames in Rotherhithe.
The farm works with local communities and the people of Southwark to provide many unique opportunities for people to learn about farming and food production, and to be actively involved in the ongoing work of the farm.
The core remit of Surrey Docks Farm is one of education. Alongside the day to day business of running a farm, we offer a wide range of training and educational opportunities facilitated by experienced and trained staff.
We welcome school visits of all ages. Our training projects provide a unique resource for adults with learning disabilities.
We are open 7 days a week, 10am – 5pm (summer time) and 10am – 4pm (winter). Entry to the public is FREE, although we do ask for a £3 per person donation. If you are intending to visit us in a group please take a look at our Group Visits page.
