Harvest Festival 9th September 2017
It’s our Harvest Festival on the 9th of September and we have a great line-up for a family fun-filled day out.
We have something for everyone from bouncy castle, face painting and meet the animals for the kids, to a bar chill and grill area for the grown ups to relax and watch the Morris Men perform. The yard will be filled with local craft stalls and don’t miss our very own farm produce stall, selling jams and chutneys made by our students using ingredients grown here. We’ll also be joined by the fantastic London Vegetable Orchestra who will show you how to craft a recorder from a carrot, as well as performing songs on their vegetable instruments!
As always entry on the day is FREE and the event will open at 11am.
We’re delighted to announce that our popular donkey rides will be returning at the fair! A big thank you to Oliver Jaques for their financial support in securing a new riding license. We’re planning to offer the first rides along the Thames path from 11:30am-12:30pm and 2pm-3pm, but this will be weather dependent! Buy your ticket in the farm shop.
This year our fair ale will be supplied by the lovely folk at Brick Brewery in Peckham. Keeping it local!
