Surrey Docks Farm main site remains closed to visitors until further notice. The Thames path and our river gardens are open daily from 10am – 4pm, providing views over our duck pond and yard that currently houses our goats, sheep, donkeys and pony.

The Barn Kiosk a pop-up café run by the Pear Tree Kitchen offers a takeaway service here six days a week (closed on Wednesday) serving on to the Thames path.

Surrey Docks Farm eggs, meat, seasonal vegetables, plants and more are all available to purchase via our online shop, with collection slots from the Rotherhithe Street gates.

We don’t have plans to open any further at present. We’re prioritising the return of our community projects that engage more vulnerable groups in April. We’ll then look at how we can open more of the site for visitors in the summer and will update here when we have news!

Coronavirus Update

We are following government public health advice to limit the spread of coronavirus. Find out what this means for you as a volunteer, work experience student, young farmer, student, visitor, participant etc.

Farm Shop

We’re selling farm-reared meat and eggs. Payments must be made in advance online and collection will be from the Rotherhithe Street entrance at the agreed time only.

Gardening Shop

We want to support our local food growers and are selling bagged up manure, compost and fruit/veg plants. Payment must be made in advance online and collection times stuck to in order to minimise any contact.

Meet the Animals

We’re a working farm on a 2 acre site in central London that’s home to a wide range of livestock; including goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys, poultry and more!

Wildlife on the Farm

We garden for wildlife and encourage nature on our site, as a result the Farm is teaming with invertebrates, amphibians, birds and a regular fox visitor!

Animal Experience

Looking for a unique gift idea? We offer Animal Experience sessions here at the Farm. Choose to meet the goats, sheep or small animals!

Save the Farm!

Surrey Docks Farm engages the whole community to take an active role in farming and food production. We’re a charitable organisation that relies heavily on donations and we need your help now more than ever to survive this crisis.

We rely on a dedicated team of volunteers who assist with animal care and support our community projects every day of the week. We’ve now paused recruitment and aren’t able to take on new volunteers at present.
