Surrey Docks Farm is a working city farm and charity that enables the whole community to learn about farming, food production and the natural environment. We run a range of educational projects targeted to engage those who would benefit most, we are supported by hundreds of volunteers and are slowly reopening for the general public to visit for free. Find out more about visiting hours by clicking here.
The Thames path and our river gardens remain open every day from 10am – 4pm providing views over our duck pond and goat yard, plus access to The Barn Kiosk a pop-up café run by the Pear Tree Kitchen also open every day.
Surrey Docks Farm eggs, meat, seasonal vegetables, plants and more are all available to purchase via our online shop, with collection slots from the Rotherhithe Street gates on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Visit the Farm
The Farm is now open to visit on weekday afternoons from 1:30pm-4:30pm. We’ll be welcoming schools and organised groups back in June for pre-booked morning visits.
Our popular holiday programme ‘Farm Club’ is back this October half term. We welcome children aged 8-13 years for a full day of Farm activities, outdoor experiences and fun!
We need your support with a funding application to install a new, accessible, community kitchen here on the Farm. Find out more about our plans and complete a form to register your support and help us get cooking!
Meet the Animals
We’re a working farm on a 2 acre site in central London that’s home to a wide range of livestock; including goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys, poultry and more!
We welcome school visits and offer a range of workshops that enhance learning and support the national curriculum. Find out more and book via our website.
Looking for a unique gift idea? We offer Animal Experience sessions here at the Farm. Choose to meet the goats, sheep or small animals!
