Surrey Docks Farm is a working city farm and charity that enables the whole community to learn about farming, food production and the natural environment.
We run a range of educational projects targeted to engage those who would benefit most and are supported by hundreds of dedicated volunteers who attend on a weekly basis.
We are open for the general public to visit for free from 10am-4pm, Monday-Saturday. Closed to visitors on Sunday.
Visit the Farm
The main Farm site is open to visit for free from Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm. The Thames path is opened every day from 9am-5pm, giving access to the takeaway cafe and providing views over our goat yard.
Free Nature Event
Join us on Saturday 2nd July from 12-4pm to get involved making insect hotels, tasting foraged teas, learning how to help bees, and bringing out your green fingers! Designed by young people for young people (but all ages welcomed!).
Beekeeping Taster Sessions
We’re offering the chance for adults to learn more about our bees through our summer evening Beekeeping Taster Sessions.
Animal Experience
Looking for a unique gift idea? We offer Animal Experience sessions here at the Farm. Choose to meet the pony, goats or sheep!
Farm Club
Our popular holiday club for 8-13 year olds is back this Summer! Sessions will be outside in the Farm environment offering animal handling and feeding, plus nature and arts activities. Spaces are limited and must be pre-booked.
