Farm Christmas Fair – 2nd December 2023

The Farm’s annual Christmas Fair will run from 11am-4pm on Saturday 2nd December. Entry to the Farm will be free as usual but we’ll be charging for our activities to raise much needed income to keep the Farm running.

Christmas Tree Sale Our real Christmas Tree sale will be back by extremely popular demand. We have three sizes on sale to fit all budgets (and bus rides home!). For more information about our trees click here.

Christmas Wreath Kits We’re selling our beautiful Christmas Wreath Kits. We’ve made the base for you using straw from the Farm and real pine, you then get to do the fun bit and decorate at home! Each kit contains a base plus wired pine cones, bows, ribbons, baubles, cinnamon sticks, orange slices and holly sprigs.

Animals & Activities The Farm will be open so you can wander around and say hello to all our animals, make sure you head to the pig field to meet the young piglets! You can also purchase bags of feed from the shop to feed the goats, sheep and pigs. In addition our livestock team will be creating a special area in our stables where you can go in with our smaller animals – including rabbits and guinea pigs – for cuddles and strokes! Then head to the yard to play games such as our popular festive ‘Hook a Duck’ game!

Crafts Stalls Looking for unique gift ideas? We’ll have a selection of craft stalls in the yard selling a range of items and do head in to our farm shop where we’ll be selling our Surrey Docks Farm honey and a range of delicious jams, jellies and chutneys made by our Farm Produce students using ingredients grown here.

Drinks & Snacks We’ll be selling mulled wine, mulled apple juice and delicious home made cakes from the yard. The Barn Cafe will also be open as usual serving on to the Thames path.

Entertainment We’re pleased to welcome back the Greenwich Morris Men to perform, Spinners will be giving a wool demonstration and local choirs will sing throughout the day to keep you in a festive mood!
