Looking for a unique Christmas present for an animal lover in central London? Look no further!

We offer three different animal experience sessions that give you the chance to get up close and meet our goat herd, friendly donkeys, or our cheeky pony. Our experienced Livestock staff will show you into the animal enclosures and let you interact with our animals during your chosen session. This makes the perfect activity for an unusual date or a special treat for an animal lover!

Each booking enables a maximum of 2 people to visit their chosen animals. You won’t be sharing the pen with other guests, just your own party. All sessions include 30 minutes.

The sessions are aimed at adults over 18 years old. We can tailor the sessions for older children, but only for those aged 8 plus. This is so we can safely run the sessions and children can get the most out of it. Please note children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

By purchasing one of our animal experience sessions, you’ll get a hands on farm experience here in London whilst also supporting the running of our charity Farm and ensuring others in the community can continue to benefit from our projects.

Meet the Donkeys

Our ‘Meet the Donkey’ experience gives your party of up to two adults the chance to get up close to Surrey Docks Farm’s donkeys, Snowy and Fidget. Led by one of our experienced Livestock staff you will spend half an hour with the donkeys, giving them a good groom and learning all about them.

Terms and Conditions

Gift Experiences can be claimed on Saturdays from 1st March through to 31st October. We typically don’t book sessions from November-February due to poor weather conditions. Gift experiences are valid for one year following the purchase date.

To book your Gift Experience please email info@surreydocksfarm.org.uk giving your booking reference number to arrange a date. 

On the day of your animal experience agreed timings need to be kept to, as livestock staff deliver these experiences alongside the daily animal care routines. We encourage you and your party (max two adults) to arrive in advance of your session to ensure you’re here on time, please visit our farm shop (by the steps near the goat yard) to let the team know you’re here. The Farm is open from 10am-4pm and is free to look around.

Please wear sensible covered footwear, you’ll be going in to the animal’s enclosures which are cleaned regularly but can be mucky underfoot.
