Greenagers engages young people aged 14-18 in youth-led activities and social action projects here at the Farm. Sessions are designed and informed by the young people we work with along themes of food growing and cooking, animal care, environmental conservation and rural craft. Greenagers forms part of our free core youth programming with a focus on building connections with the community, enhancing wellbeing, gaining practical skills and knowledge and preparing for further study and careers.
Greenagers offers a progression route for graduating Young Farmers who meet eligibility criteria, which facilitates a long term and embedded youth presence at the Farm.
Members meet across three weekly sessions, with experienced Youth Workers facilitating the sessions.
We have spaces coming up on our Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon clubs for those aged 16 or 17 years. To register your interest, please complete the below enquiry form.
