Using the farm’s beautiful herb garden for inspiration, we’ll lift the lid on the fascinating world of herbs. Together we’ll smell, touch and taste various herbs and explore some simple ways we can use them to improve our health and to treat every day ills.
We’ll also look at how to use them in cooking, and how to identify and grow several key herbs. Last but not least we’ll look at herbal medicine in more detail and the role herbs can play in combating the growing problem of antibiotic resistance.
At the end of your workshop you’ll be more aware of how herbs work on your body and take home a selection of culinary and medicinal herbs. With medical herbalist Melissa Ronaldson. 10-1
