School Holiday Activities
The holidays are a great time to visit Surrey Docks Farm, which is free to enter and open seven days a week from 10am-4pm. Our shop will be selling animal feed (£1 a bag), the yard is open for you to enter and mingle with our goats, plus we offer extra activities and clubs, find out more below.
Meet the Small Animals
Join us from 2:30pm-3pm Monday-Friday during the school holidays to meet our smaller animals up close. We charge £1 per person to enter our amphitheatre space (the grassy area next to our horsebox) where you can cuddle our rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and poultry.
No booking required, just turn up, but please be aware we need good weather and enough volunteers to enable these sessions to go ahead.
Farm Holiday Club
Love animals? Give your child an urban farming experience at Surrey Docks Farm this October half term! Activities include a mixture of feeding, grooming and mucking out our friendly farm animals; plus arts and crafts, gardening and nature activities such as pond dipping.
Our Holiday Clubs are for 8-13 year olds run from 10am-4pm.
Our popular cooking workshops will be back this October, in our beautiful new river room! We’re running two sessions teaching families with children under 8 years old to bake Farm Fruit Tarts using ingredients harvested from our orchard.
Children will need to be supervised and assisted throughout the session by a parent/guardian, we’ll provide the ingredients, recipe and clear up the mess!
Please allow an hour for your fruit tarts to bake before collection – why not explore the Farm and say hello to our animals while you wait!
