Holiday Activities

The Farm is open and free to visit from 10am-4pm every day of the week. We have a farm shop inside the Farm which sells animal feed bags which can be fed to our goats, sheep and pigs. Please note the farm shop is run by volunteers and closes from 1-2pm for lunch!
Full details about visiting and how to find us here.
Animal Fundraising Activities
The Farm is able to remain free to visit thanks to donations, grants and fundraising activities supporting our increasing running costs. As such the livestock team are delivering additional activities that are charged to help bring in vital income. Read on for details.

Meet the Small Animals
During the holiday, we’ll be running our popular ‘Meet the Small Animals’ sessions. Our volunteer team will bring out a selection of rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks and lambs for you to get up close to and stroke.
We’ll charge £2 per child to go into the animal area (cash or card on the day is fine). Sessions will run from Monday-Friday 2:30pm-3pm, but we will rely on volunteer support to deliver this activity, so may have to cancel at short notice. No booking is required, simply turn up on the day.

Join the Flock
Come and meet our sheep! On Thursday 1st June at 3pm we’re giving exclusive access into our sheep field with our friendly ewes and lambs. Farmer Claire will introduce you to the flock, answer any sheep related questions and give you some food to hand feed them too.
One slot (which costs £20) enables a group of up to 4 people to attend.  Booking in advance essential. Find out more here

Feed the Lambs
We are offering the chance for visitors to bottle-feed our lambs at 12:45pm and 4:40pm Monday-Saturday. Booking in advance essential! Find out more here

Children & Young People
We’re offering additional activities this holiday through our Children & Young People Programme.

Family Piglets Club
We’re offering a one-off additional session of our popular Family Piglets Club!
Piglets Club welcomes preschool children aged 2-4 to learn about farm animals, plants and nature; spending time outdoors on a working farm in central London. Sessions are designed to engage children in an interactive, hands-on way. Children (and adults) are encouraged to take on new challenges, be active and explore their environment with all of their senses, no matter the weather!
Booking in advance essential! Find out more here

Farm Holiday Club
Our popular holiday programme ‘Farm Club’ continues in 2023 welcoming those aged 8-13 years old for a day (10am-4pm) on the Farm!
Activities include animal handling, a mixture of feeding, and mucking out of our friendly farm animals; nature based arts and crafts, bushcraft skills, fire building and lighting and activities such as pond dipping and exploring the foreshore.
Please note, we’re now fully booked for May/June, but do have availability for the Summer Holidays.
Booking in advance essential! Find out more here.
