We are offering the chance for visitors to bottle-feed our lambs every day at 12:30pm and 4:30pm.
As with all animal activities hand washing with warm water and soap is essential for all participants, both before and after handling the lambs and staff will oversee this process.
As this is a high contact animal activity, we do not recommend those with weakened immune systems take part, lamb feeding also isn’t suitable for pregnant women.
We welcome all ages children and adults to take part, but please note that very young participants will need to share a slot with a guiding hand as participants must be able to fully support the bottles whilst the lambs drink! The lambs do get very excited at feeding time and can be boisterous, so this isn’t the best activity for anyone nervous around animals.
Lamb feeding is really popular and slots sell out quickly. We’re not able to reserve slots in advance or keep a waiting list. We upload slots on Friday mornings, so please check this webpage on Friday between 9am and 10am. Don’t worry if you’ve missed out, the lambs will need feeding for a couple of months. Please note we deliberately only release dates up to one week in advance in case the lambs need a break.
The lambs all need to be fed at the same time and at a regular time. As such we advise you to get to the Farm in advance to have a look around, then wait at the bottom of the farm shop steps just before your scheduled slot time. We will have to go ahead with the feed if you’re late and we aren’t able to offer refunds!
We need to feed the lambs every day at 12:30pm and 4:30pm. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate latecomers.
New lamb feeding slots are added a week in advance on Friday mornings. Slots are very popular and do sell out quickly, so the best time to check is on a Friday morning between 9am and 10am.
