Farm Shop Volunteer
Farm Shop Volunteers play a key role in providing a friendly, welcoming point of contact for our visitors and farm shop customers.
Volunteers commit to a morning shift from 10am-1pm or an afternoon shift from 2pm-4pm, serving our customers in the farm shop. You’ll answer phone and in person enquiries; serve customers taking cash and card payments; and keep the shop stocked, clean and tidy.
Volunteers should be polite, friendly, sociable and interested in the Farm’s work. Volunteers need to be able to work fully independently in a very busy and demanding environment, as such we’re ideally looking for those who have excellent communication skills and existing retail and customer service experience.
For this role, we require volunteers to be 18 years old or over and to be able to commit to a regular weekly shift for a minimum of three months. We require two references and will carry out a DBS check prior to starting in the volunteer post.
In return you’ll gain new skills, be part of a fun, welcoming team and help support the running of the Farm!
If you’re interested, please complete the below enquiry form and we’ll be in touch to invite you in for an initial meeting.
