Surrey Docks Farm aims to engage the whole community to learn more about farming and food production. We are a working city farm growing and selling a range of fruit and vegetables, as well as eggs and meat reared on the Farm.
We have a small staff team and mainly rely on the support of volunteers to run the Farm. Full details about our volunteering roles can be found here.
We’re currently recruiting for a full time Livestock Apprentice to support the team in maintaining high animal welfare standards; assisting with income generation and volunteer engagement; and to deliver the Mobile Farm outreach project.
This is a fixed term 18 month apprenticeship, during which the successful candidate will be supported to gain a Level 3 Diploma in Work Based Animal Care.

Please be aware, applicants must be aged over 18 (in order to comply with our insurance going offsite to deliver mobile farm events). All vacancies are subject to two satisfactory written references and an enhanced DBS check before starting in post.
