Visit Surrey Docks Farm
Surrey Docks Farm is open and free to visit every day from 10am – 4pm.
The Thames path and our river gardens are open every day from 9am – 5pm. You’ll also find ‘The Barn’ along our stretch of the Thames path, this is a fantastic coffee shop run by the Pear Tree Kitchen which is also open every day. The Barn sells hot and cold drinks, pastries, cakes, paninis and rolls, plus more!
The entrance to the main farm site is through the Thames path gates, head towards the goat yard and follow the path to your right. We have a one-way route circling our fields, taking in all the animals. No advance booking is required and we do welcome well-behaved dogs on leads!
Entry to visiting public is free. We are particularly reliant on donations to help us stay open and free. We face rising bills to cover the animal feed and bedding costs, plus rent, utilities and ongoing maintenance of the site. Donations can be made in cash or card in our farm shop or via our donation page.
We have a fantastic farm shop within the Farm and is open from 10am-1pm and 2pm-4pm. Visit the farm shop to purchase eggs, meat, plants, gifts and more! We also sell animal food for £1/bag from the farm shop, this can be fed to our goats and sheep (and thrown in to our pigs).
Organised Groups
If you are part of an organised group or school and would like to visit, please be aware we are not able to accommodate these in the afternoons. In order to safely manage numbers on site, we are offering pre-booked group visits in the mornings and we do charge for groups in order to contribute to our running costs. Please contact our Education Manager via the schools page to book your visit.
Schools & Nurseries
We offer staff-led tours, educational workshops and self-led visits. Please follow this link to our schools page for full details and to book your visit. We are not able to accommodate school or nursery groups in the afternoons and morning visits need to be pre-booked and confirmed by the Farm so we can manage numbers on site.
