Yoga on the Farm
We’re excited to launch a new yoga class at the Farm on Monday evenings from 6pm-7pm.
About the Class
Join us for this Hatha-Vinyasa class where everyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner or seasoned yogi. We will combine our breath with physical alignment to build a solid foundation within yourself to explore the mind, body and present moment awareness. We will also focus on flexibility, mobility and strength all in one class, however having enough time to cultivate a sense of calmness and focus. Laughter plays an important part of this practice too!
Classes will be led by the lovely Bella (see below for her bio) and take place in the Farm’s river room. This is our classroom space behind the café. The room is light, airy and heated by underfloor heating, so perfect for Winter classes! We will provide a few yoga mats for you to borrow, but if you do have your own please bring this with you!
How to book
Spaces must be booked in advance via the form below. We charge £10 per session for one-off bookings, with a reduced rate of £8 per session for a full month booked. We’re aiming to keep class fees as low as possible and in order to do this we need to minimise admin time, so we are not able to offer any refunds for cancellations.
Meet the Teacher
Originally from Germany, Bella is a Yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner from Rotherhithe. She started her Yoga journey in 2015 when living in Indonesia and trained first in the innovative form of Aerial Yoga (hammocks) and continued her journey by completing her 200hrs Embodied Flow training. Her journey hasn’t stopped since. Bella is fascinated by the body, mind and spirit connection and deeply believes that they are inseparable. After studying 100 hours Yin & Yoga Nidra her style of teaching has changed completely.
Due to her own experiences Bella dives deeper into the practice of Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Mindfulness, Trauma work- such as nervous system regulation and the polyvagal theory and keeps exploring behaviour science and psychology. Thus she completed her Acceptance Commitment Therapy training in 2021 and weaves helpful nuggets of knowledge and mindfulness into her classes. To add another string to her bow and to deepen her healing practice she also became a Reiki practitioner in 2022.
If Bella isn’t hanging upside down in an aerial hammock giving aerial yoga teacher trainings or aerial yoga sound baths, she teaches Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Yoga for stress relief, Hatha Vinyasa, Meditation, Accessible Chair yoga or is a mentor for other yoga instructors!
Her passion for teaching any sort of Yoga stems from a desire to help others to meet and accept themselves fully and to create a rich and meaningful life through value based living. Her teaching style is based on acceptance, choice and curiosity for your own being. She supports her students to activate their inner compass, to use the given and inherent tools and find their way back to their own deep, natural sense of knowing and authenticity by creating a safe and supporting environment. Humour also plays a big role in her classes!
£10.00 – £32.00 Bookings are not refundable or transferable. Please check the dates carefully before you book. Bella will be on leave for a few weeks in March, but the lovely Marina will be covering.
